Meet The Doctor
Dr. Kim Peters was born in Tallassee, Alabama where he graduated from high school in 1977. He received his BS degree from The University of Alabama in 1981 where he majored in Biology and minored in Chemistry. Here, he was a member of the Phi Beta Kappa National Honor Society and received The University of Alabama Department of Biology’s Outstanding Scholastic Achievement Award.
In 1985, Dr. Peters graduated from The University of Alabama School of Dentistry and received his DMD degree. Upon graduation from the School of Dentistry, Dr. Peters was awarded the Academy of General Dentistry Senior Student Award and The American College of Dentists Award. He was also elected into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honorary Dental Society.
During his free time, Dr. Peters enjoys church, fishing, hunting, college football, reading, exercising, and spending time on Lake Martin. Dr. Peters is married to his high school sweetheart, Theresa, and they have three children, Brad, Brandon, and Laura-Ashley. Dr. Peters has seven grandchildren – ALL GIRLS! He is hopeful that one of the seven will also be an avid fisherman like himself!
