At North Dean Dental we enjoy seeing patients of all ages. Parents are welcome to bring their children with them. We have a children’s play area with video games and toys as well as TVs in all treatment rooms. We want to provide our patients with the best experience possible.
Information and Accommodations
We constantly strive to provide two things to all of our patients: education and accommodations. We seek to educate all of our patients about their oral health so that they can make an informed decision about their specific treatment needs. We also try to work with all of our patients to make sure anyone on any budget can afford the treatment that they need. We offer monthly payment plans and in-house financing.

Meet the Doctors
Dr. Kim Peters
Dr. Kim Peters was born in Tallassee, Alabama where he graduated from high school in 1977. He received his BS degree from The University of Alabama in 1981 where he majored in Biology and minored in Chemistry. Here, he was a member of the Phi Beta Kappa National Honor Society and received The University of Alabama Department of Biology’s Outstanding Scholastic Achievement Award.
In 1985, Dr. Peters graduated from The University of Alabama School of Dentistry and received his DMD degree. Upon graduation from the School of Dentistry, Dr. Peters was awarded the Academy of General Dentistry Senior Student Award and The American College of Dentists Award. He was also elected into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honorary Dental Society.
During his free time, Dr. Peters enjoys church, fishing, hunting, college football, reading, exercising, and spending time on Lake Martin. Dr. Peters is married to his high school sweetheart, Theresa, and they have three children, Brad, Brandon, and Laura-Ashley. Dr. Peters has seven grandchildren – ALL GIRLS! He is hopeful that one of the seven will also be an avid fisherman like himself!
Dr. Brandon Albritton
Dr. Brandon Albritton is a Huntsville, Alabama native. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Auburn University before earning his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Outside the office, Dr. Albritton enjoys life with his wife, Amberlynn and their two children. As a family, they love spending time outdoors, cheering on the Auburn Tigers, playing golf, and adventuring with their spirited dog, Maggie. His dental interests include utilizing the latest digital technology and building lasting relationships with patients.
Dr. Josh Mathis
Dr. Josh Mathis and his team are excited to serve the Auburn community. Dr. Mathis graduated Summa Cum Laude from Oklahoma State University before completing his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Oklahoma. His wife Mollie is an accounting professor at Auburn University. In their spare time, they enjoy hiking around Lake Martin, College football weekends and spending time with their four boys. Dr. Mathis’ dental interests include utilizing technology to improve care and implant placement.
Dr. Chase Samford
Dr. Chase Samford was born and raised in the Auburn area. He graduated from Auburn University before earning his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. His wife, Laken, is a pediatric occupational therapist. They are the proud parents of three young children. In their spare time, they enjoy weekends at Lake Martin, Auburn Athletics, and exploring with their golden retriever, Jackson. Chase and Laken are active in the community and in their church and look forward to serving their hometown.
Dr. Colson Smith
Dr. Colson Smith is excited to serve the Auburn community. Dr. Smith graduated from Auburn University in 2015, with a degree in Biomedical Sciences, where he enjoyed his leadership roles in many on-campus organizations. He went on to complete his Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Alabama Birmingham in 2019. His wife Anna is also a graduate of Auburn University and UAB. They have two daughters. Dr. Smith is an avid outdoorsman and fan of the Auburn Tigers. His dental interests include alleviating dental pain with root canals, replacing missing teeth with dental implants, and enhancing the esthetics of a smile with veneers.
Dr. Reid Burleson
Dr. Reid Burleson is a Chelsea, Alabama native. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Auburn University before earning his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. In his spare time, he enjoys golfing, walking around town, fishing, and cheering on the Auburn Tigers. His dental interests include partnering with patients to create personalized treatment plans that promote long-term oral health and restoring confidence through healthy, beautiful smiles.
